Purple-Tiger Cubs (Ages 4-8 years, July 4-8)

Sunday Registration - Hoke Sloan Tennis Center	Time: 5:30-6:00 p.m.
Sunday Evaluation - Hoke Sloan Tennis Center	Time: 6:00-7:15 p.m.
Thursday Award Ceremony - Hoke Sloan Tennis Center	Time: 11:00-11:30 a.m.

Important Notes for Tiger Cub Campers:

**All campers please wear Camp T-shirt on the first day-Monday

**All campers should bring their own towel each day.

Monday: Tiger Cub Olympic Day

8:00 – 8:15 Children Drop Off (Clemson Tennis Center)

8:15 – 8:30 Warm-up

Exercise & Stretching

8:30 – 9:00 Introduction to Motor Skills, Movement & Footwork Drills, and Hand/Eye Coordination Drills

9:00 – 9:10 Break

9:10 – 10:00 Introductions: Proper Grips, Recognizing parts of the Tennis Court

Strokes: Forehand, Backhand, Volley and Serve!

10:00 – 10:30 Mid-day Break (Refreshments, Water & Gatorade)

10:30 – 11:30 Demonstration: The Serve

Tennis Games: Movement & Footwork, Hand/Eye Coordination involving the Fundamental Tennis

Strokes

11:30 – Noon Activity Time: Olympic Games

Noon Children Pick-up ( Clemson Tennis Center)

Tuesday: Tiger Paw Day (Tiger Mascot Visits Camp) Face Painting & Balloons

***Please have your camper dress in Orange & Purple attire this day.

Same schedule as Monday except for the Demonstration: Forehand and Backhand Groundstrokes

Activity: Clemson Tiger Visits Camp, Children paint orange tiger paws and purple balloons on their faces

***Campers get their picture made with the Tiger!!!!

Wednesday: Tiger Cub Fear Factor Day

Same schedule as Monday & Tuesday except for the demonstration: Volley

Activity: Fear Factor

Thursday: Tiger Cub Camp Awards Ceremony and Water Gun Day

Same Schedule as Monday to Wednesday except no demonstration NOTE: 11:00 Tiger Cub Award Ceremony

****Campers play a team tournament with counselors

****Campers may bring their own water gun or use water guns made available by the Clemson Tiger Tennis Camp.
